π Banana Bread Brownies
Ingredients
For the Brownies:
- 2 eggs
- 3 mashed bananas
- 1 Β½ cups sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- Β½ cup butter (melted)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
For the Frosting:
- Β½ cup butter
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 Β½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix butter, sugar, eggs, sour cream, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add flour and baking soda (about 2 cups flour + 1 tsp baking soda, optional if you want a fluffier texture). Mix well until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for about 25β30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool.
- For the frosting: Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat, then whisk in powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies and let it set before cutting into squares.
