Passion Fruit Pudding with Chocolate Sprinkles

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (395g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 packet (25g) passion fruit flavored powder (like instant dessert mix)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickness)
  • 1 cup heavy cream or whipping cream
  • Chocolate sprinkles (to taste, for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the pudding base:
    • In a saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, regular milk, and passion fruit powder.
    • If you prefer a thicker texture, dissolve 1 tablespoon of cornstarch in a bit of cold milk and add it to the mixture.
    • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly (around 8–10 minutes). Do not let it boil.
  2. Add the cream:
    • Turn off the heat and gently fold in the heavy cream to give the pudding a smooth and creamy texture.
  3. Cool and set:
    • Pour the mixture into a glass dish or serving bowl.
    • Let it cool at room temperature for about 10–15 minutes, then transfer it to the refrigerator.
    • Chill for at least 3–4 hours, or until fully set.
  4. Decorate:
    • Once the pudding is set and cold, sprinkle a generous layer of chocolate sprinkles over the top.
  5. Serve:
    • Slice and serve cold. Enjoy!
