Passion Fruit Pudding with Chocolate Sprinkles
Ingredients:
- 1 can (395g) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups milk
- 1 packet (25g) passion fruit flavored powder (like instant dessert mix)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickness)
- 1 cup heavy cream or whipping cream
- Chocolate sprinkles (to taste, for topping)
Instructions:
- Prepare the pudding base:
- In a saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, regular milk, and passion fruit powder.
- If you prefer a thicker texture, dissolve 1 tablespoon of cornstarch in a bit of cold milk and add it to the mixture.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly (around 8–10 minutes). Do not let it boil.
- Add the cream:
- Turn off the heat and gently fold in the heavy cream to give the pudding a smooth and creamy texture.
- Cool and set:
- Pour the mixture into a glass dish or serving bowl.
- Let it cool at room temperature for about 10–15 minutes, then transfer it to the refrigerator.
- Chill for at least 3–4 hours, or until fully set.
- Decorate:
- Once the pudding is set and cold, sprinkle a generous layer of chocolate sprinkles over the top.
- Serve:
- Slice and serve cold. Enjoy!
