Crab & Shrimp Stuffed Salmon

Crab & Shrimp Stuffed Salmon

You Will Need:

  • 1 large salmon fillet (cut to butterfly)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 lb lump crab meat
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 lb cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or your favorite seafood seasoning)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.

Prepare the stuffing:
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and Old Bay seasoning. Mix until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Butterfly the salmon:
Carefully slice the salmon lengthwise to create a pocket, without cutting all the way through.

Stuff the salmon:
Spoon the seafood mixture evenly into the center of the salmon fillet. Press it in gently to hold the filling in place.

Bake:
Transfer the stuffed salmon to the prepared baking dish and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish and serve:
Top with additional chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges for a burst of freshness.

Serving Suggestions:

This elegant dish pairs beautifully with garlic butter asparagus, roasted potatoes, or a simple green salad.
