  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or sesame oil for extra flavor)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional for richer flavor)
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 3 tbsp water (optional, for thickened sauce)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the mushrooms and cook for 3–4 minutes until they release their juices.
  4. Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for another 3–4 minutes until tender but still crisp.
  5. Pour in soy sauce (and oyster sauce if using). Stir well.
  6. If you like a thicker sauce, add the cornstarch slurry and cook for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve hot.

🌟 Tips:

  • Add chili flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Serve over steamed rice or noodles for a full meal.
  • Swap broccoli with asparagus, bok choy, or green beans for variety.
